Emir Jami (Of Counsel) is a corporate lawyer specialising in private equity investments. He is currently a partner and the general counsel of the London-based investment house White Cloud Capital, investing in growth equity and IP-heavy high-tech venture opportunities. Previously, he was the deputy general counsel of the London based buyout firm Star Capital Partnership, investing in assets with infrastructure properties. As such, Emir is experienced with various private equity strategies across the private equity value chain, including both majority and minority deals, management buyouts/buy-ins, growth equity, and venture capital. Throughout his career as a corporate and M&A lawyer, he has led a broad range of complex transactions at Baker McKenzie and Dentons’ Istanbul and Amsterdam offices. He is triple qualified (England and Wales, New York and Türkiye) as a lawyer/solicitor.

In addition to Turkish, he is fluent in English.
