Dr. Serdar İyigün (Of Counsel) is leading AECO’s German desk. He is an experienced commercial litigator with over two decades of experience, and has acted as an expert, liquidator and trustee in Turkish courts for over 15 years. Having qualified in 2012, he is also one Türkiye’s first mediators, and is an expert mediator in commercial disputes.

Dr. İyigün continues to work as a liquidator and trustee in Turkish courts. He is a lecturer on commercial law for undergraduate students at Marmara University Faculty of Financial Sciences, and on banking law for master’s and PhD students at Marmara University Banking-Institute. He also worked as a guest lecturer at Humboldt University for one semester while obtaining his doctorate.

In addition to Turkish, Serdar is Fluent in German.
