Günhan Yalçın is a partner and the head of AECO’s Banking & Finance practice.  He has more than 25 years’ experience advising on domestic and cross-border financing matters.

He advises Turkish and international banks, other financial institutions, non-bank lenders (including alternative investment funds) and corporate borrowers on a broad range of financing transactions, including bilateral and syndicated lending, project finance, acquisition finance, commercial real estate finance, structured and trade finance (including receivables finance), Islamic finance and interbank lending.

Günhan joined Dentons’ Istanbul office in 2012, where he established and led the Banking & Finance practice until the end of 2025, before joining AECO.
